NEW, First time available in the US and for sales worldwide. The latest applied technology protective body armor. LEVEL III able to withstand (and has been tested) up to 16 AK-47 high powered rifle shots and all lesser weapons, also stab resistend and special shrapnel coating makes this vest protective against all handguns, high powered rifles, stabbing and cutting instruments and shrapnel.
The "full coverage"protective vest consists of inside pockets removable High strength VRN High density Steel 12 X 14 inch contoured plates for front and back and 7 X 7 inch contoured plates for the sides, providing almost 80% body core protection. Weighing only 22 lbs this design provides great mobility and a more comfortable, cooler fit than traditional full level 3 body armor (which typically is NOT stab and shrapnel/Flac resistant. Unlike other ballistic fabric based armors that typically last only about 5 years and much less if they are exposed to water and moisture or sharp objects, these armored protective plates have an effective projected life of over 8+ years! The vest is available in two sizes, "normal" and "large" which can easily be custom fitted by the user through high strength Velcro straps, male or female, to a wide range of body sizes and configurations.. The vest is easily worn both concealed and as a tactical external vest, should the user need external pockets for a tactical situation any number of external carriers can be used.
This vest in unique and easily passes the Level III-IV tests. Please NOTE: since the vest is manufactured overseas it has not been submitted to the NIJ in the US, It has however passed handily the equivalent NIJ Level III-IV testing in the country of manufacture including single vest against multiple AK-47 hits without failure.
